DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Miami, FL.Summary:We are seeking a Buyer - Technical Projects to support procurement activities for engineering, technology, and infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for sourcing specialized products and services, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring project procurement needs are met on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:* Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts for technical equipment, software, and professional services* Partner with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify procurement requirements and timelines* Manage supplier relationships and assess vendor performance, capabilities, and compliance* Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and project budgets to ensure successful execution* Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations* Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities and sourcing strategies* Support project teams with procurement planning throughout the project lifecycleRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field* Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations supporting technical or project-based environments* Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software* Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills* Ability to interpret technical specifications and understand project lifecycles* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesPreferred Skills:* Experience supporting engineering, IT, infrastructure, or technology-related projects* Knowledge of contract management and vendor performance metrics* Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service and quality standardsJob TypeContractCompensation17 - $23
