Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better togetherYOUR MISSION As a Procurement Specialist at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor to executing our Supply Chain strategy. This role will support the Supply Chain Manager in procurement of goods and services necessary to deliver flight hardware to orbit. This role will also support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of procurement processes and act as an advocate across the business. This role will require someone who wants to dig in, design the processes, and own material and service requirements through delivery.
We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who can demonstrate the ability to identify issues and develop scalable solutions.Developing and executing sourcing and procurement strategies to meet program requirements with focus on optimizing price, delivery, and qualityEstablishing and ensuring compliance with ethics and procurement policies/proceduresCoordinating with internal teams/stakeholders to diagnose and forecast needs, and develop supply chain strategies to support key projects and effortsManaging and supporting key supplier relationships to ensure compliance, transparency, quality, schedule accuracy, and cost-control, including occasional travelNegotiating pricing, lead times, and basic terms with suppliers in support of contracting and sourcing efforts to achieve cost, delivery, and quality targetsIdentifying and pursuing strategic agreements with key suppliers such as stocking agreements, re-order points, and other strategic opportunitiesDriving continuous improvement of procurement processes, including collaboration with key stakeholdersOwning the procurement process from requirement definition to delivery, including supplier onboarding, RFQ's, order release, tracking/status, and invoice approvalParticipating in special projects/extending past written role responsibilities as needed to support the team and organizationQUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree and two years of relevant experience, OR 4+ years of relevant experience in absence of a degreeAerospace/Defense Industry experienceProcurement/Supply Chain/Vendor Management ExperienceExperience using ERP/MRP systemsStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skillsExperience with Microsoft Suite, specifically Microsoft ExcelPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESpace-technology supply chain experienceExperience working in a manufacturing environmentExperience in any of the following functional areas - Propulsion, Structures, Power Systems, AvionicsCOMPENSATIONBase Salary: $90,000- $ 110,000Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
