We're looking for a Procurement Cost Analyst to join our Operations team and take ownership of cost modeling and procurement analysis across our finished goods, raw materials, and new product pipeline.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that reports directly to the VP of Operations and sits at the intersection of procurement, supply chain, finance, and new product development.Your ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain master Bill of Materials (BOM) cost sheets, ERP Cost Masters and supporting toolsModel and calculate full landed costs for all assigned products, including inbound freight, duties, tariffs, and distribution expensesManage MOQs, EOQs, and lead time variables within the costing processServe as the go-to SME for all Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, import duties, VAT, and exchange rate impacts on landed costSupport monthly financial reviews with accurate, up-to-date cost dataExecute RFQs for new products and calculate landed costs using assigned tools and templatesManage component costing from concept-to-launch as an active supporting member of the New Product Development teamCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, and Development to hit cost targets and launch timelinesTrack and report costing updates for all assigned NPD projects at regularly scheduled team reviewsMeasure results against target cost objectives; build mitigation plans when targets are at riskTransition new products to daily supply chain operations upon launch completionAnalyze procurement and transportation costs; proactively identify and recommend savings opportunitiesSupport line reviews, upstream costing initiatives, rework projects, and strategic sourcing effortsProvide financial analysis supporting product life cycle changes in partnership with Marketing and SalesCalculate and provide costing models for opportunity analysis across all distribution channelsEstablish and maintain supplier relationships to facilitate timely, accurate costing dataIssue RFQs, negotiate pricing, and make supplier recommendations based on total cost of ownership analysisSupport sourcing of new suppliers to achieve cost savings targetsProactively identify and champion process improvements within procurement and supply chain operationsDrive ERP system adoption and business process consistency across the organizationIdentify component cost reduction opportunities on new product programs to support competitive pricingWhat We're Looking For3–5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain planning, or a dedicated product costing roleDemonstrated experience building and managing landed cost models (BOM costing, inbound logistics, duties, tariffs, distribution)Working knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, import duties, VAT, and exchange rate impactsProven experience executing RFQs and negotiating supplier pricing in a consumer goods, manufacturing, or CPG environmentAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiency — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, financial modeling, data mining; not just basic spreadsheet useHands-on experience with MRP/ERP platforms for cost sheet management and procurement workflowsDemonstrated experience participating in new product launches in a costing or procurement capacityStrong cross-functional collaboration skills — you've worked closely with Marketing, Sales, and/or R&D teamsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent practical experiencePreferred / Nice-to-HaveBackground in consumer products, CPG, air care, fragrance, home goods, or adjacent industriesInternational and domestic freight / logistics experience;
