Software Procurement CoordinatorLocation: Harrisburg, PA 17120Duration: 12+ months with possible yearly renewalPrimary Responsibilities Include:Working directly with customers in our agencies to document and process software procurement requests.Gathering, preparing, and submitting information and documentation to the various approvers throughout the process.Meeting with a diverse group of stakeholders to help ensure timely processing and approval of software requests.Reviewing, interpreting, and providing input on software license agreements and other software-related contractual documents.Researching whether there is already current software in use in the commonwealth that would meet the documented business needs.Providing general guidance to our customers on the software procurement approval process and its underlying policies and processes.Overall tracking and managing of the backlog of requests.Facilitating any requests for additional information that may arise during the approval process.Serving as an overall point of contact and subject matter expert for both agency and delivery center staff for the software procurement approval process.Required Experience:Required: 2+ years full-time experience managing projects (does not need to be in an official capacity as a project manager).Required: 3+ years full-time experience dealing directly with customers.Required: 1+ years of experience in vendor management.Required: Strong leadership and organizational skillsRecommended: Degree in business related studies with a minor focus on management information systems or a combination of a business-related studies with a basic background in IT infrastructure.Skill - Required /Desired - Amount - of ExperienceExperience managing projects (does not need to be in an official capacity as the project manager) - Required - 2 - YearsExperience dealing directly with customers - Required - 3 - YearsExperience in vendor management - Required - 1 - YearsStrong leadership and organizational skills - Required - 0Degree in business-related studies w/ a minor focus on MIS or combination of business-related studies with a basic background in IT infrastructure - Highly desired - 0
