Apple's IT Governance & Planning team is seeking a hands-on privacy professional to drive global Privacy initiatives across Apple's IS&T organization. This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate seeking to drive operational and strategic excellence in Apple's IT governance processes.DescriptionThis is a high-visibility role that will drive execution of privacy programs, ensure compliance with global data protection regulations, and partner cross-functionally to embed privacy-by-design into products and processes. You will establish Privacy standards and help drive metrics and projects to assess the privacy posture.

Dynamic, smart people and inspiring, innovative technologies are the norm here.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end execution of privacy projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery of key milestonesPartner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to operationalize privacy requirementsImplement and maintain privacy frameworks aligned with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global lawsespecially those surrounding the use of AIFacilitate Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)Develop and maintain data inventories, data flow maps, and records of processing activities (RoPA)Track and manage privacy incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolutionSupport responses to data subject requests (DSARs), audits, and regulatory inquiriesDrive privacy-by-design principles in product development lifecyclesDevelop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs across the organizationMonitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practicesMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related program/project management rolesStrong understanding of global privacy regulationsExperience managing cross-functional projects and working with distributed teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent stakeholder management abilitiesBachelor's of Science in Information Systems, Security, or Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of data security principles and risk management frameworksKnowledge of global AI regulatory obligationsKnowledge of EU privacy lawsExcellent communicationAbility to balance legal/compliance requirements with business needsExperience in technology, SaaS, AI frameworksPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
