We are looking for a talented professional to create complex electronic designs for the Navy and commercial use using CAD or manual systems.Job Responsibilities:Design PCB products utilizing Cadence design software; equivalent tool experience will be considered with the expectation to be productive with the Allegro toolsetCreate electrical schematic diagram of PCB using Allegro Design Entry CIS (OrCAD), a familiarity of Concept HDL Software is a plus for legacy designsCreate PCB layouts using Allegro PCB Editor for analog, digital, power and hi-speed designsDesigner must work well independently and in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical and Design EngineeringPrepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications; and documentation per ASME standardsProcess Engineering Change OrdersEnsure adherence to design standard and designated quality parametersAdhere to Company policies and proceduresProvide assistance to lesser experienced drafters by communicating work priorities, providing technical assistance, verifying accuracy of workContribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive mannerQualifications:Associate's degree or its equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Printed Circuit designCadence Allegro PCB experienceKnowledge of commonly-used design concepts, practices, and proceduresIPC standards, ASME Y14.100, ASME 14.5M, MIL-STD-100U.S. Citizenship required.
