Principal New Nuclear Build Engineer

Job Summary

• This is a FULLY REMOTE position that supports licensing projects in the US and internationally.
• Self-starter and motivated to deliver excellent results.
• An established leader witha track recordof delivering results.
• Travel to client sites as required by contractual requirements. International travel may berequiredoncertain efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 25+ years of experience supporting new nuclear build
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to navigate diverse nuclear environments effectively and write technical documentation
• Experience with a minimum of one of the following areas (technical and/or licensing)
• New nuclear build feasibility studies
• Technologyselection
• Environmental assessment
• Siteselection
• Economic assessment of new nuclear
• EPZ analysis
• Legal and regulatory framework for newcomer nuclear
• Funding and financing plans for new nuclear
• Country facing roadmap development

Preferred Qualifications

• Previousor current SRO license
• Experience working for or with NRC or another international regulator
• Familiarity with nuclear regulations, licensing processes, and regulatory guidance documents (e.g., NRC regulations, NUREGs, IAEA requirements, otherregulator’slicensing documents).
• Experience in preparing or reviewing technical reports for new nuclear deployments
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Experience overseeing the work of a team

Compensation Range

• Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, certifications held, and other criteriadeemedpertinent to the role.
• The estimated hourly pay range for this role is$100-$150/hr.
