A leading Southeast general contractor is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join its growing Miami team. The company delivers large-scale multifamily, high-rise residential and mixed-use developments and offers a collaborative environment focused on professional development and internal progression.
The successful candidate will lead the preconstruction process for major projects valued at $50M+ , taking responsibility for accurate budgets, competitive proposals and a seamless transition into construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual estimates, detailed budgets and bid proposals
- Manage subcontractor solicitation, evaluation and selection
- Conduct constructability and design-assist reviews
- Develop procurement strategies, scopes of work and preliminary schedules
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers and operations teams
- Lead client budget presentations and support fee strategy
- Manage proposal deadlines and mentor junior preconstruction team members
Experience Required
- 5 to 8 years of commercial construction experience
- 3 to 5 years of dedicated preconstruction experience
- Experience managing preconstruction for projects valued at $50M+
- Strong estimating, budgeting, procurement and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff and P6/Primavera preferred
