Pre‑Sales Technical Review Technician

This position is responsible for providing Pre‑Sales Technical Review upon receipt of a customer data package prior to quotation. The review process identifies technology, base materials, and special internal/external process requirements based on TTM manufacturing capabilities and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the data package from the customer is complete before accepting it and interface with the customer to resolve problems and discrepancies.
  • Interface with application engineers on advanced designs prior to quotation of advanced or challenging designs.
  • Provide print translation for the inside sales administration group, create a quotation worksheet and checklist, and forward it to the Senior Inside Sales Administrator.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer Data Review: Promptly review customer data, note discrepancies, and interface with the customer to resolve problems. Create a quotation worksheet and checklist and forward it to the Senior Inside Sales Administrator.
  • Advanced Design Review: Interface with application engineers on advanced designs before quotation, ensuring adequate communication to the customer about any issues that may affect the timely quotation of their product.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and service‑oriented approach to all communications.
  • Promptly review and communicate customer RFQ requirements to the Senior Inside Sales Administrator.

Job Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
  • Knowledge related to the PWB industry with five years of PWB experience required.
  • Three years in the specified process discipline within a preproduction environment.
  • Expert knowledge of the process and ability to perform the process on nearly all jobs and challenges with minimal guidance.
  • Experience using Star Systems, Valor/Genesis, or Gerber viewer for data design review.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and make competent decisions.
  • Involvement in the improvement of the process discipline and the ability to implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.
  • Effective communication via telephone, group meetings, and discussions.
  • Ability to give and receive information accurately, follow directions and procedures, organize facts and figures, and apply basic arithmetic.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well‑being benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending and health savings accounts, accident benefits, life insurance, disability benefits, paid vacation and holidays. Benefits become available on the first of the month following the date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered. The compensation range for this role is $49,673 - $78,516. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus and a shift premium for alternative shift positions.

Export Statement:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC, including but not limited to: a) identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and ensure access to these products and related technical data is limited to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents; b) recognize foreign visitors and enforce badge differentiation; c) follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities; d) understand export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
