Job Details

• Lead all preconstruction activities from concept through project turnover
• Develop conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, GMPs, and cost models for commercial construction projects
• Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants during project planning and design phases
• Identify opportunities to pursue and win new projects within the Dallas-Fort Worth market
• Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, interviews, presentations, and proposal development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and industry partners
• Develop and execute value engineering strategies to maximize project value and cost efficiency
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for scope completeness and risk identification
• Perform constructability reviews and provide recommendations during design development
• Track market trends, labor conditions, and material pricing to ensure accurate budgeting
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Project Management, and Executive Leadership teams
• Lead project handoff meetings to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to operations
• Assist in strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
• Mentor junior estimators and preconstruction staff as needed
