Grow Your Career with UMC, Inc.Benefits:TOP MARKET PAYExcellent Stability and Growth OpportunitiesMedical, Dental, Vision, HSA, Life Insurance for you and your familyPaid Time Off From Date of HirePaid Holidays401K w/ 6% Company MatchExcellent Company CultureThe successful Plumbing Project Manager will strive to enhance their expertise and abilities consistently, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work in a safe manner, adhering to production schedules, and integrating UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.Pay Range (Salary): Salary Pay: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experienceResponsibilities and Duties (Essential Job Functions):Oversee all plumbing aspects of multi-family new construction projects from planning through completionReview plumbing contracts, bids, and SOVs with estimators; provide feedback to improve accuracy and processesManage procurement of major plumbing equipment and materials; monitor budgets and schedulesFacilitate QA/QC process; ensure field teams are completing proper documentationUpdate and distribute job schedules and manpower requirements in coordination with field managersLead project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and establishment of critical project objectivesStaff, manage, and support multi-family plumbing projects; communicate resource needs to managementDevelop and implement project execution plans, including quality, safety, subcontracting, staffing, and procurementEnsure projects comply with client requirements, company standards, building codes, and regulationsNegotiate change orders, back charges, claims, and contract settlements with management and subcontractorsCommunicate project status, KPIs, risks, schedules, and costs to all stakeholdersManage contract administration: RFIs, ASIs, submittals, RFQs, change management, closeouts, and claims mitigationGather monthly billing information; submit markups to accounting and approve completed billing for customersAttend all required project meetings and maintain strong communication with estimators, field teams, and customersQualifications:Must have a high school diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma, or GED.Minimum 4 years as a licensed journeyman plumber; 10 years and/or relevant degree for senior-level positionsMust have 3-5 years of recent experience as a project manager in construction or Plumbing. Multi Family experience required.Must support UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Value statements, demonstrate a high degree of integrity and maintain the confidentiality of personnel and business information.Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, initiative, and communications skills.Possess effective analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, plans, and applicable building codes.Proficient in Microsoft Office products and possess the aptitude to learn and use additional computer software as needed, i.e., Field View, Bluebeam, Vista by Viewpoint.Must be able to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; climb or balance; stand; walk; lift or move up to 50 pounds; work overhead and in cramped quarters. Occasionally exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites occurs. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The performance of work happens in outside weather conditions. Mitigate these hazards or stop work until conditions improve when applicable.
