Job SummaryMust be able to work independently as necessaryCreate, Modify, and test PLC codeChange ladder logic in PLC programSetup HMI screens make changes to HMI screensProgram drives and other electronic componentsThis position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations.Install, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills, HVAC, roofs, chillers, boilers, pumps, motors, etc.Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipmentFollow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessaryDevise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instrumentsRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceUse electric meters, a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing dutiesInitiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibilityBe a catalyst of positive change to improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.Keep work area and tools clean and orderlyInstall and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.Job RequirementsAllen-Bradley PLC experience RSLogix500, Studio5000Ability to travel to other branch locations, sometimes on short noticeElectrical troubleshooting experienceTwo (2) years of PLC programming experience is required, five (5) or more years of experience preferredAssociates degree or equivalent experience in a technical fieldMechanical ability to complete tasks such as replacing motors, repairing plumbing issues, etc.Valid driver's license and safe driving recordCapable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessaryKnowledge of 5S or Lean manufacturing principles a plusGood verbal and written communication skillsBasic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge desiredExperience with CMMS softwareAbility to perform multiple tasksAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Communicate effectively with other employees, departments and branchesBenefits401(k) profit sharing401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
