Facility:
This well-established healthcare system houses a comprehensive Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26 patients, supported by an extensive network of subspecialty services including Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology. The facility fosters a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with strong physician and advanced practice provider team support.

Job Details:

• Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care services in a Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26 patients
• Manage advanced neonatal therapies including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
• Collaborate with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
• Participate in patient care coverage including call and weekend duties as per department policy
• Kansas medical license required or willingness to obtain
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship, actively working toward BC) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• DEA required prior to start
• J1 visa candidates welcome; H1B visa support not available
