Ochsner Children’s Hospital, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking an experienced physician leader with vision and passion to serve as Section Head of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The successful candidate will join a team of three faculty members, advanced practice providers, psychologists and social workers to lead and grow the program, increasing the number of children cared for at Ochsner.

Additional training and experience in bone marrow transplant and/or stem cell transplant is desirable. The successful candidate will possess proven leadership, team-building, and managerial experience and a demonstrated track record of driving successful program growth.

Areas of administrative responsibility include physician recruiting, quality of care, financial performance, patient experience goals and medical staff management.

The position is on‑site in New Orleans, Louisiana; remote work is not offered.
