Headquartered in Augusta, GA, Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America provides services from the nation's largest individual burn center: the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician specializing in Plastic and Microvascular Surgery to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical care, including complex reconstructive and microsurgical procedures, with a strong emphasis on achieving optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in patient education, and contribute to research and innovation within the specialty.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex plastic and reconstructive surgeries with a focus on microvascular techniquesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide pre- and post-operative careCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient careMaintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory standardsEducate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and long-term care planningContribute to quality improvement initiatives and advancement of surgical practicesParticipate in clinical research, teaching, and scholarly activities as applicableUphold professional, ethical, and institutional standards of medical practiceRequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institutionBoard certification or eligibility in Plastic SurgeryFellowship training in Microvascular Surgery requiredCurrent, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of practiceProven expertise in reconstructive and microsurgical proceduresStrong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellenceExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environmentCommitment to ongoing professional development, research, and/or teachingWe offer Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/401(k)/Vacation and Holidays.
