Position
The Department of Anesthesiology at the Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking a board eligible/board certified anesthesiologist to join the Division of Abdominal Transplant Anesthesia.
Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate patient care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant procedures, including liver-kidney, pediatric, split liver, living donor, kidney and kidney‑pancreas transplants.
Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology.
Previous experience performing liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants (including during residency or fellowship) is required.
Certification or pursuit of certification in intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to teaching and education.
