We’re looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Inflamatory Bowel Disease (IBD) team.

Highlights of the Position

• Focus on IBD
• Existing, experienced GI/IBD subspecialist mentor
• Multidisciplinary IBD program with dedicated support (medical assistants, nurses, pharmacists)
• Collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, and GI radiology
• Collegial 16-physician GI group including general GIs, hepatologists, GI subspecialists, and advanced endoscopists
• Integrated practice model with strong internal referral network
• GI‑dedicated clinical research infrastructure
• 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite
• Opportunity to teach – support for GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs
• EPIC electronic record platform throughout the Ochsner Health System
• State Tort Reform
