Physiatrist

Temple Rehab Hospital in Temple, TX, is seeking a Physiatrist to join their team as an independent contractor. This role involves providing comprehensive physiatry care within a 36-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The Physiatrist will collaborate with the CEO and clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals recovering from serious injuries, illnesses, and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiatry care in a 36-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital
• Collaborate with the CEO, medical staff, and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, CMS guidelines, and Joint Commission standards
• Serve as a clinical leader committed to excellence, communication, and teamwork

Requirements

• MD or DO, licensed to practice medicine or surgery in the state of Texas
• Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Demonstrated experience or training in inpatient rehabilitation care through: A PM&R residency or A one-year rehabilitation fellowship or A one-year hospital internship plus two or more years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation medical management
