Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Miami, FL. This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

- Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM
Or - Monday-Friday: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
- Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 6+ months
Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties:
- Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
- Collect specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
- Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures.
- Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients.
- Create a comfortable and trustworthy environment for patients.
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow established safety, quality, and confidentiality procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and coworkers.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED
- Skills/Specialties/Technology: Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
