A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 250-bed community hospital near Mishawaka, IN. This role offers a dynamic inpatient setting within a Northern Indiana hospital, with potential to extend beyond the initial assignment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- 2nd shift: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Option may be available for a 7 on/7 off rotation
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Perform pharmacokinetic calculations and monitoring
- Contribute to medication management and safety in the inpatient setting
- Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy operations
- Strong knowledge of medication order verification processes
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience with supervising pharmacy technicians and conducting pharmacokinetics
