Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologist in Jackson, Michigan
Join a dynamic and growing ICU and surgical team at a reputable Level 2 Trauma Center in Jackson, Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to be a key player in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 8-12 weeks of service annually in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), including home call coverage.
• Oversee a growing team of APPs managing complex post-operative patients.
• Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks, including general operating room coverage.
• Share OR call duties proportionally based on ICU coverage.
• Work collaboratively with an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in clinical decision-making, protocol development, and care coordination.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPs.
• Utilize Epic EMR for seamless patient documentation.
• Contribute to a department focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
• Must be available to start ASAP.
• Not open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship trained in Critical Care Medicine.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Commitment to engaging in continuous learning and professional development.

License and Certification Requirements:

• MI license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain before start).
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
• Current COVID and flu vaccinations.
