Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join their large team of pediatric specialists at the Thief River Falls, Minnesota clinic. This full-time position involves a clinic practice with hospital call, rounding, and newborn nursery duties. Responsibilities
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients from birth to young adulthood (21 years of age) concerning their physical, emotional, and social health
- Treat acute and chronic disease, including major complicated illnesses
- Provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies
- Assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services

Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $237,634 - $307,527 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Requirements
- BC/BE Pediatrician
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience can be demonstrated by a residency log for recent graduates or a quality profile from current hospitals showing clinical activity for the past 12 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 50 pediatric patients in the last 12 months
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency Pediatric program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/sub-specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
