Pediatric Radiologist

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join its division of Pediatric Radiology. This role offers the opportunity to work in a nationally ranked, freestanding acute care children's hospital with advanced imaging technology, including a PET/MRI. The position is ideal for a radiologist looking to contribute to a leading academic medical center renowned for patient care, research, and education.

• The facility has a Dual energy CT and one of the country's only PET/MRI embedded directly into a children's hospital.
• The University is home to the region's largest NICU and PICU.
• The majority of complicated cardiac surgeries in Western NY are performed within the Children's Hospital.
• The medical center employs over 2,000 faculty members, and nearly 900 residents and fellows.
• The medical center has a regional network of owned and affiliated hospitals, united with a single PACS.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $475,000-$525,000
• Compensation and benefit packages are highly competitive
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Shift & Schedule

• The department has maintained an average of one day per week of dedicated academic/administrative time to allow for professional development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Fellowship trained
• ABR Certified/Eligible
• NYS Licensed or License Eligible
• Experience in pediatric IR is desired, but not required
• Open to visa sponsorship
