What You'll Do

• Diagnose and treat new and existing patients while focusing on wellness and preventive medicine to minimize health concerns
• Collaborate with Physicians and other medical personnel when needed
• Help to form treatment plans and education information about specific conditions related to child growth and development
• Prescribe medication and order immunizations
• Follow all clinical and employee protocols
• Refer patients and patents for consultations when needed
• Prescribes medications and other treatments
• Complete all notes in patient’s EMR to indicate patient medical status and treatment procedures performed
• Performs other duties that will aid in the quality care of the patient

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Pediatric Nurse Practitioner license in TN
• Prior experience as APRN or PA in /diabetes and obesity management or Internal or Family Medicine or Primary Care with focus on chronic conditions
• Strong medical background and a desire to support growing multi-specialty and multidisciplinary group
• Ability to use exceptional team- based approach in all aspects of clinical duties
• Nurse Practitioner certification a plus (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care)
