Pediatric Nurse
Professional member of home health team who provides skilled nursing visits in patient's home under the direction of plan of treatment established with physician and input from patient/care giver.
Assessing a child's needs and providing initial care
Identifying changes in pediatrics signs and symptoms and intervening in emergency situations
Participating in pain management for pediatric patients
Record patient's medical history, symptoms, and vital signs
Advises patients and their parents on medication instructions and at-home care.
Provides high-quality pediatric patient care and is careful and attentive.
Dealing with the anxieties and demands of parents, and helping families to deal with their child's illness or injury.
Remaining up to date on the latest developments, rules and regulations, drug therapies, equipment, and treatment procedures
Administer medication as prescribed by physician
Currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in home care for 2 years with one-year supervisory experience
Good communication skills.
Emotional and mental strength, dedication, and self-motivation.
Empathy and the ability to relate to children
