Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist

Position Summary

We are excited to announce a position opening for a full‑time Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist at Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE.

We are looking for a skilled team builder, an effective teacher, and an outstanding clinician with expertise in general neurology. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, relevant clinical expertise, and subspecialty training in epileptology. The position reports to the Division Chief of Neurology within the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will have practice locations both at the main Wilmington campus and in other satellite locations in southern Delaware and, potentially, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician during designated weeks and participate in on‑call coverage as part of the service team
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students with emphasis on your specialty area
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program and an Epilepsy Fellowship Program
• Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology and Board Eligibility/Certification in Epilepsy
• Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware
• An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor
