The Pediatric Intermediate Care Center (PIMC) at Oregon Health & Science University provides intermediate level nursing care for pediatric patients from birth to 18 years old, and sometimes up to 22 for follow-up. The team supports patients with multisystem issues and coordinates transfers within Doernbecher for intermediate care needs.
Orientation length varies; experienced nurses may have a shorter onboarding.
