Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities
- Provide ambulatory and inpatient care
- Deliver consultative services
- Perform general GI procedures
- Participate in the supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology
- Provide outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders
- Provide inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders
- Perform general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures)

Requirements
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent)
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
