Position Overview
Due to upcoming retirements, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, is seeking two full‑time physicians. The anticipated/flexible start dates are 2027.
The successful candidate will be a full‑time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level without tenure by reason of funding (WOT) on the Clinician‑Scholar or the Clinical Practice track, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (or foreign equivalent)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Washington
- Foreign graduates must demonstrate successful completion of all 3 steps of the USMLE or equivalent
