• Join our close-knit team of 15 physicians and 20 APPs at Frederick Health Hospital.
• Work alongside a Clinical Performance nurse and comprehensive ancillary services in the ED, including peer recovery, ED pharmacists, crisis intervention, social work, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Cover 9 beds in the ED and 5 inpatient beds.
• Manage an annual ED volume of 16K with an average of 3 inpatients to round on per day.
• Integrate seamlessly with Sound Physicians’ hospitalist, observation, adult EM, and critical care teams for smooth throughput to maintain a low LWBS rate of less than 3%.

Compensation

• W2 rates equivalent to $167/hour days; $177/hour nights.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts for physicians.
• APPs work a swing shift (variable length based on seasonality).

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible pediatrician with emergency medicine experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
