Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat genetic disorders in pediatric patients. Interpret genetic testing results and design personalized treatment plans. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patient families concerning treatment and care of patients.
Location
New Orleans, LA. Frequent travel to worksites in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
Education & Experience
M.D. or D.O. required.
- License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
- Completion of a medical genetics residency.
