Pediatric CardiologyThe Pediatric Cardiology Physician will:We
are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary cardiac care team at The Children's Hospital at
Saint Peter's University Hospital.About Our Pediatric Cardiac CenterAs
a state-designated acute care children's hospital, our dedicated team of
board-certified pediatric cardiologists, cardiac nurse practitioners, and
cardiac technologists provides comprehensive cardiovascular services for
infants, children, and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease,
arrhythmias, and electrical disorders.We treat: Congenital heart defects, heart murmurs, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias,
rheumatic fever, Kawasaki disease, cardiomyopathies, and valvular disorders.Our
Pediatric Cardiac Center provides consultative services throughout the
hospital, including our renowned Level IV NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Emergency
Department. We coordinate advanced cardiology and cardiothoracic surgical

and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in patients from
neonatal period through young adulthoodPerform
and interpret echocardiograms, EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, and
fetal echocardiograms, fetal imagingPerform
diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations as appropriateProvide
inpatient consultations across NICU, PICU, medical/surgical units, and
Emergency DepartmentManage
outpatient cardiology clinic for chronic cardiac conditionsCoordinate
care with pediatric cardiac surgeons and subspecialistsParticipate
in fetal cardiology program with prenatal consultationsCounsel
families about diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term managementCollaborate
with multidisciplinary cardiac teamParticipate

•Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship.•Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board.•Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance•MD or DO licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey•CDS and DEA licensed or eligible for licensure•Preferred: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification; advanced echocardiography experience; Interest in fetal cardiology, interventional procedures, or electrophysiologyFull-time clinical base compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from 175,000 - 750,000 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
