Payroll ProcessorSumBridge is hiring a Payroll Processor to join our client's Finance team in Tukwila, WA. This is a full-time, long-term consulting assignment expected to last six months or more, starting as soon as possible. You'll process biweekly and monthly payroll, keep tax reporting accurate and compliant, and partner with Human Resources on compensation and benefits.

Healthcare coverage and paid time off are offered throughout the assignment.What You'll DoReview and process biweekly and monthly payrollPrepare and analyze payroll reports to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local rules and regulationsManage annual regulatory updates, including IRS tax tables and State and local agency changesPrepare and balance payroll tax reporting to ensure accurate year-end W-2 filingMaintain, configure and analyze the payroll software systemCoordinate with Human Resources on benefit and compensation issues, and maintain employee compensation and benefits recordsUpdate medical open enrollment rate changes and process monthly benefits invoicesResearch and prepare materials for internal and external auditorsSupport team members and help ensure department deadlines are metWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSolid hands-on payroll experience, including preparing Federal, State and local payroll reportsWorking knowledge of GAAP, general accounting and the general ledgerStrong Excel skills and strong computational and analytical skillsDayforce experience highly preferred; experience with other payroll systems is also valuedDetail-oriented, accurate and organized, with a track record of meeting deadlinesClear, proactive communicator who can prepare concise, complete financial documents and reportsSound judgment in setting priorities, maintaining standards and resolving problemsTools You'll UseDayforce, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OutlookSchedule & DetailsFull-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Long-term consulting assignment, expected to run 6 months or moreHybrid work arrangement based in Tukwila, WAOccasional overtime may be requested in non-standard situationsCandidates will complete an Excel assessment and an accounting assessmentInterview process: one 30-minute virtual interview with the hiring teamBenefitsHealthcare coverage, offered during the consulting assignmentPaid time off (PTO)
