Payroll AdministratorA well-established manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-savvy professional to own payroll operations and serve as the internal subject matter expert for the platform. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity.Role: This role sits at the intersection of payroll, accounting, and technology. The right person is equal parts payroll processor, system owner, and internal resource for the broader team.
This is not a purely transactional payroll role. The expectation is someone who can run payroll accurately, maintain and optimize the platform, and support colleagues across departments in using the system effectively.Responsibilities:Process weekly payroll for a sizeable workforce.Serve as the internal go-to for all things ERP including troubleshooting, user support, and system questionsManage system updates, enhancements, and vendor coordination including regular calls with the ERP teamDevelop and maintain SOPs and how-to documentation for system usersTrain and support staff across accounting, operations, and HR on ERP functionalityIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system utilizationWork cross-functionally to ensure the platform is being used to its full potentialBackground Profile:3-5+ years of payroll processing experienceStrong understanding of payroll processing and complianceProven ability to troubleshoot system issues and support end usersExperience managing ERP updates or working closely with software vendorsBackground in manufacturing or a related industry preferredComfortable documenting processes and trainingProactive and solutions-orientedBachelor's degree preferred, not requiredFeatures and Benefits:Full family medical coverageFamily dental and vision coverage401(k) + matchPTO and Paid Holidays
