Responsibilities
- Assess the patient's condition by obtaining a complete medical history, physical data, and reviewing medical records.
- Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine the appropriate diagnosis and therapeutic treatment plan.
- Consult with other physicians and medical specialists to assure patient and physician satisfaction.
- Record all symptoms, objective findings, assessment, treatment plan, and other appropriate information in the patient's chart.
- Instruct the patient and family regarding diagnosis, testing, treatment, expected outcome, and future prevention.
- Evaluate the outcome of the treatment plan by reviewing diagnostic results, contacting patients, or requesting return visits.
- Provide medical guidance and encourage the continued development of the Practice's physicians' assistants, nursing staff, medical support staff, and rotating interns.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $0 - $1000 Hourly
Requirements
- Required: Minimum three years of experience.
- Desired: Prior experience as a staff physician.
