What you'll do
Work under the direction of a pathologist in Anatomic Pathology: gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens, frozen section support, specimen documentation and photography, and autopsy assistance.
Requirements
• Current Pathologists' Assistant certification, PA(ASCP)
• Bachelor's degree in a health or biological science
• Must live within 75 miles of the Memphis VA Medical Center
• Current BLS (American Heart Association)
Job details
• Full-time, W-2
• On-site at the Memphis VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN
• Shifts of up to 8 hours, schedule set with the VA lab
• May include rotating weekends and federal holidays as scheduled
• VA onboarding includes a TB test and VA privacy and security training
