If you're passionate about serving the Church and seeking employment with mission-oriented work and exceptional benefits, apply today!Job TitleAccounting And Business Management ServicesEssential Duties/ResponsibilitiesAccounting and business management services.Invoicing tuition on the FACTS systemBill payment, recording and reconciliation of financial transactions,Coordinating and assisting with budget preparation and providing monthly financial reportingPreparing annual financial reportPayroll processing and payroll tax reportingAssistance in implementing internal controls and/or assistance in implementing financial audit recommendations.Visit parishes/schools as necessary to pick up or deliver financial records and communicate financial information to pastor and staffAttend Parish Finance Council (PFC) meetingsCollaborate with other AOD departments regarding financial and administrative issues and concerns.Assist in developing financial policies and procedures for parishes and/or schools with direction and approval of the Chief Financial Officer.SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office Products with a special emphasis on ExcelAbility to operate accounting softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and their applicationsKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial dataSound judgement in decision making and high ethical and integrity standards when handling privileged AOD financial mattersAbility to work independentlyPhysical DemandsPosition requires the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work. May involve some lifting, carrying, pushing/or pulling of objects and materials (5-50 pounds).

May involve extended periods of time standing or sitting at a keyboard or workstation. May involve repetitive motion (i.e., typing). May involve walking long distances.
