Litigation ParalegalHinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented litigation paralegal with 2–3 years of litigation experience to join our Binghamton, New York office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of matters while continuing to develop litigation skills in a professional, team-oriented setting.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:Draft, edit, and format litigation documents under attorney supervisionAssist with preparation of pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and exhibitsMaintain and organize electronic and physical case filesTrack deadlines and maintain attorney calendars to ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirementsCoordinate scheduling of depositions, court appearances, meetings, and closingsPrepare documents for filing and assist with state and federal e-filing processesResearch court rules and filing requirements as neededOpen new matters and maintain accurate case recordsRespond to internal and external requests for informationProvide general litigation support including word processing, time entry, filing, and telephone coverageProvide additional administrative and litigation support as neededRequirementsQualifications2–3 years of litigation paralegal experience preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelFamiliarity with court procedures and e-filing systemsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and shifting prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor and strong client service orientationAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environmentWillingness to work occasional overtime as needed
