Panel Shop TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable Panel Shop Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in commercial and industrial applications.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic electrical or mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in building quality products.
Experience in HVAC controls, building automation, electrical assembly, or industrial manufacturing is a plus, but we are willing to train someone with a solid foundation and a great attitude.ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical control panels according to wiring diagrams and schematicsMount electrical components including relays, breakers, transformers, power supplies, PLCs, and terminal blocksCut, strip, label, and terminate wiresInstall DIN rail, wire duct, and panel hardwareRead and interpret electrical drawings and blueprintsPerform quality inspections and functional testing of completed panelsTroubleshoot basic wiring issues and make necessary correctionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with inventory and material organizationFollow company quality and safety standardsQualifications1+ years of electrical assembly, controls, HVAC, or related experience preferredAbility to use basic hand and power toolsBasic understanding of electrical wiring principlesAbility to read electrical schematics is preferred
