This role is ideal for someone with 5–10 years of experience in system deployment, configuration, or technical implementation within healthcare IT.
You'll play a critical role in installing, configuring, and optimizing Sectra's Enterprise Imaging solutions, helping hospitals and health systems deliver better care through smarter technology.In this role you will:Lead and execute deployments of Sectra's Enterprise Imaging software, databases, and related toolsConfigure integrations with third-party systems including PACS, EMRs, modalities, dictation systems, and AI platformsCollaborate with project managers, healthcare IT teams, and customers to ensure successful implementationsSupport and lead data migration activities during project transitionsTroubleshoot complex technical issues and perform diagnostics remotely or on-siteDeliver technical training sessions and mentor junior team membersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within deployment processesOccasionally work outside of standard hours to support go-lives and critical implementationsSkills & RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should:Have 5–10 years of experience deploying or supporting complex enterprise software systems, ideally within healthcare ITHold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent technical experienceDemonstrate strong understanding of PACS, DICOM, and system architecture in a medical imaging environmentHave experience with Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure), and network configurations (VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing)Be skilled in installing, configuring, and upgrading enterprise software applicationsHave working knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) and basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)Be confident leading technical deployments and customer discussions independentlyBe detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projectsBe willing to work occasional off-hours to support customer go-lives or urgent system needsNice-to-haves (not required to apply):Prior experience deploying or administering PACS, RIS, or VNA solutions in a healthcare environmentFamiliarity with cloud-hosted infrastructure or hybrid deployment modelsUnderstanding of security best practices (data encryption, certificates, VPN tunnels, authentication protocols)Experience with data migrations, system upgrades, or disaster recovery planningExposure to Linux-based servers or containerized environmentsExperience providing technical training or customer onboarding sessionsWhy this role?You'll directly contribute to solutions that improve healthcare workflows and patient outcomesYou'll gain experience with complex enterprise imaging environments and global deploymentsIt's a strong growth opportunity toward senior engineering, project management, or solution architecture rolesYou'll join a mission-driven team solving real-world challenges in healthcareOther informationWe recruit on an ongoing basis, and the goal is for the right candidate to start as soon as possibleThe salary range for this position is $95,000–$125,000, based on experience and qualificationsSectra provides a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, retirement plan with matching, and career development programsSectra celebrates diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
