Oracle DeveloperLocation: Jersey City, NJPosition Type: 6+ Months ContractRate: DOE $/hr on W2Interview Process: PhoneGreen Card, U.S Citizens and GC-EADIn This RoleYou will participate in the design, development, implementation and support of data warehousing and reporting applications and financial analysis tools. Under minimal supervision, conduct the analysis, design and development of software contributing to the overall success of projects as they move through the different phases of the project life cycle. You will work with our immediate team as well as our business partners.

You should be able to articulate technical designs at the application level, define strategies, and work closely with fellow developers. You must also be able to describe problems and make recommendations to project leaders. You must have great communication skills and be a team player.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing system solutions that address business requirements leveraging an Agile development methodology. Your knowledge will be called upon to set guidelines and standards that will allow our team to continue to deliver important and vital solutions for our customers.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrong technical competencies in SQL and PL-SQL, database development and data marts, experience with Oracle databasesExperience writing stored proceduresExcellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code in applicable programming languagesKnowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systemsExperience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data WarehousingExperience with Informatica preferredSignificant technical competencies in the use of business reporting and database management tools required.Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Able to manage time and meet deadlines for concurrent projects/assignmentAble to work in a fast paced, Agile development environment to achieve group goalsPossesses analysis, development, and unit testing project life cycle experienceAbility to work as part of a technical team and collaborate with other members of the team to set technical directionStrong skills in technical design and analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInitiative, with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasksStrong attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with business partners.Ability to multi-task while effectively managing time and meeting critical deadlines with little supervision.Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently in a dynamic business environment.
