Oracle Commerce / Oracle ATG (Lead Developer)Job Location: Little Falls, DEJob Type: Contract to HireProvide technical subject matter expertise on Oracle Commerce platform features, functionality and processesAbility to elicit and define application development approach from user stories and requirements – business, functional and non-functionalAnalyze and provide technical guidance on commerce related processes and customer experiencesAssessment of functional requirements / stories and ability to develop estimates to successfully develop solutions against Oracle commerce platform capabilities and APIsAssist in commerce product demos and educate clients on feature / function discussionsStrong understanding of modern application development best practices and patternsShould have good understanding of Oracle ATG concepts like Form Handlers, Droplets, Dynamo Pipeline, Repositories, Profile Module, Scenarios, Targetors etc.Should have good understanding of ATG Commerce concepts AddtoCart, Checkout process, pricing, promotions, commerce pipeline, Order Processing etc.Should have good understanding of Oracle Business Control Center (BCC) Project Creation project Deployment and should be able to resolve issue related to BCC project deployment.Participated in technical discussions with internal teams regarding ATG SM9 tickets.Experience working in an defects and enhancement (Major, Minor, etc.)Should have good understanding of BCC process, pricing, promotions, commerce pipeline, Order Processing etc.Understand application and production support processes and participation in those processes, including appropriate documentation and related RUN / Support activitiesShould be able to drive and/or assist in troubleshooting exercise across various teamsShould be able to manage client and stakeholder communications at appropriate levelsStay current on commerce, platform and best practices and strive to continuously improve knowledge and subject matter expertisePerform code reviews and peer evaluations working as part of a application teamLead and/or work with others to facilitate code reviews, readiness and deployments to production and other suitable environments or landscapesAbility to diagnose and provide directional assistance to triage sessions related to Oracle Commerce solutionsWork collaboratively within a multiple disciplined team and work effectively with cross-functional team members and client stakeholders regardless of locationAssist in validation of functional requirements through delivery / agile phasesSupport team members and provide coaching and mentorship to junior application developers within the teamEnsure traceability between code, requirements and testing plans, scripts and casesSupport testers in triage and correct identification of test results against requirementsProvide support to proposal preparations and scopingContribute to ongoing development of Cognizant's Commerce practice including presentations, practice material creation and relevant thought leadershipParticipation and leadership as needed of our software development processes, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives, Daily Stand-ups, etc.Assist in support of documented delivery processes and established best practices to successfully deliver end working software product.Mentor direct reports; conduct development planning and evaluation; work to build a high-performing teamQualifications:At least one end to end experience in the application development lifecycle using Oracle CommerceOracle Commerce Certified Specialist or equivalent experience – familiarity with B2C and B2C Oracle Commerce platform and associated capabilities (e.g. Account Administration, Catalog management, Order Manegement, Extensions, Punch-out and Integration APIs)Java Certified Developer or Architect1-3 Years Experience working on full-lifecyle commerce projects.
