What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, direct, provide, and evaluate nursing care for patients during the inter-operative phase.
- Monitor and take corrective action to prevent recurring absences.
- Comply with shift, unit, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in clinic and nursing Quality Assurance Programs.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational records (HIPAA Standards).
- Utilize assessment data when instituting the plan of care.
- Organize nursing activities efficiently in both circulating and scrub roles.
- Evaluate and document patient outcomes.
- Maintain safety in the use of all equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
- Attend and constructively participate in staff meetings.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
- 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
