We're seeking an Operations Manager to lead safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives at a growing Detroit-area automotive manufacturer.
Key Focus Areas:
- Improve OEE through increased machine uptime and efficiency
- Drive labor productivity through automation and shift optimization
- Reduce inventory levels using lean principles and real-time material tracking
- Lower scrap and defect rates while improving first-pass yield
- Strengthen safety performance and compliance
Strategic Projects:
- Lead RJG eDART implementation and process optimization
- Deploy a real-time injection press scheduling system
- Drive tooling optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Background:
- Injection molding manufacturing leadership experience
- Automotive, Tier 1, or OEM supplier experience
- Strong lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise
- Experience with RJG, scientific molding, or process monitoring systems preferred
