The Operations Manager will be report to the General Manager and be responsible for managing the restoration division. As an Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities within the facility and ensure that job schedules and products meet the customers' quality standards at minimum costs.Servpro of Gaithersburg/Germantown/Frederick County offers:Competitive compensationSuperior benefitsCareer progressionProfessional developmentAnd more!Key responsibilities include:Overseeing the day-to-day operations of restoration crews including schedules & production levelsManaging the tasks and activities of a diverse workforce to ensure jobs are being processed within a timely mannerEffectively communicating with all members of the restoration staff and delegating the appropriate duties for each team memberDeveloping and implementing processes to improve performanceDeveloping employees for opportunities of greater responsibility, improving the abilities, skills and knowledge of production personnel through appropriate instruction and training.Working with support personnel to ensure that all aspects of the job are met to prevent any delays in the job processEnsuring strict compliance with all safety procedures and implementing safe working procedures in assigned restoration areasPosition requirements include:High School Graduate or GED EquivalentValid Driver's License2+ years of management experienceAt least one year of restoration (water/fire) industry experienceIICRC certifications (WRT at a minimum)Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skillsStrong process and results driven attitudeAbility to multitask and to remain detail orientatedMust be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications Skills/Physical Demands/CompetenciesAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning agentsAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawCompensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
