Operations AssistantOur client, located in San Marcos, CA, is an innovative and rapidly growing manufacturer specializing in high-performance athletic equipment within the gymnastics and movement training sector. Their products are engineered with precision and durability in mind, serving both commercial and professional training environments. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to support daily manufacturing and operational workflows at their San Marcos facility.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day operational support across manufacturing, production, and logistics functionsAssist in coordinating production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflowMonitor inventory levels, track materials, and support procurement efforts to maintain optimal stock levelsCollaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline processes and resolve operational bottlenecksMaintain accurate records of production data, work orders, and inventory transactions within ERP or internal systemsSupport quality control processes by ensuring documentation accuracy and assisting with inspections as neededHelp coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including order verification, packaging, and carrier schedulingIdentify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing operational efficienciesEnsure adherence to company safety standards and manufacturing best practicesProvide administrative and project support to the Operations and Production leadership teamsQualifications & Requirements2+ years of experience in an operations, production, or manufacturing support role (required)Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (highly preferred; experience with athletic equipment, trampolines, or similar products is a plus)Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/MRP systems preferredSolid communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teamsBasic understanding of inventory management, production workflows, and supply chain processesSelf-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to take ownership of tasksHigh school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
