If you're dependable, hands-on, and ready for a long-term opportunity, apply today!Operating Technician Responsibilities:- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification- Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption- Machine readiness – inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up- Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning- Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution- Ensure part quality meets established standards- Perform housekeeping duties- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, as required- Complete all shift documentation/paperwork- Shift hand-off – go over job status and updates with incoming shift- Participate in safety programs- Follow all established safety procedures- Wear appropriate Personal Protective EquipmentRequirements for Operating Technician:- One year manufacturing or related experience- Mechanical aptitude- Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements- Ability to solve basic math problems- Ability to operate forklift- Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, twisting, standing for long periods of time- Occasionally lifting 10-50 lbs – cases of product and pallets
