Oliver Wyman, Vector - Aerospace Systems Test Engineer - Seattle, WAOliver Wyman Vector is looking for a Lead Systems Test Engineer that will focus on developing and executing test cases, performing system-level testing, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring the functionality and compliance of airplane systems and software, troubleshooting and addressing issues, and contributing to the enhancement of testing strategies and methodologies.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Systems software validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integrationExperience in developing test cases working with software development and system engineering teams Demonstrated proficiency in Test Engineering and System TestingExperience leading test programs compliant with airplane software certification using RTCA DO-178CStrong skills in Testing methodologies and test executionExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsPlan, execute, and troubleshoot complex software systems integration to validate interface definition and system requirements of airplane network systemsCompare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learnedExperience with DOORS or similar requirements development and management toolExperience authoring certification or process documentation for a DO-178C compliant test program.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Passion for aviation and familiarity with airplane systems is a plusExperience with airplane networks and communicationBasic knowledge of network protocols, routing table definitions, and network architecture definitionsExperience with test procedures, lab testing and troubleshootingExcellent verbal and written communicationsExperience with Development Assurance, Certification and Safety AnalysisCustomer focus and ability to jump to the hottest "fire" and contribute to problem solutionsBachelor's degree and 7+ years and/or advanced degree with 5+ years related work experience.An accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Preference for accreditation to come from ABET.This role requires employee to be onsite 3-5 days a week
