Office Administrator - BookkeeperCompensation: $25-$30 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (occasional overtime as needed)Location: Camarillo, CAThe Office Administrator - Bookkeeper is a key internal team member responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office while managing essential accounting functions.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, service-driven, and comfortable balancing administrative and financial responsibilities in a dynamic consulting environment.What You'll Do:Record, classify, and summarize financial transactionsManage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment trackingMaintain and update the general ledger in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)Reconcile monthly credit card statements and support account auditsConduct weekly bank deposits and track pass-through expensesManage shared accounting inbox and respond to financial inquiriesCoordinate with external bookkeeping/accounting vendorsTrack weekly team billing hoursProcess semi-monthly billing and client invoicingOversee day-to-day office operations (supplies, mail, inventory, scheduling)Answer and direct calls using the office phone systemFront Office - Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmthCoordinate meetings, travel, and company eventsPerform general clerical duties (copying, scanning, formatting, correspondence)Maintain office equipment and vendor relationshipsSupport internal communications and company-wide initiativesConduct background checks and reference verificationsAssist with HR document preparation and formattingProvide scheduling and administrative support to HR AdvisorsMaintain strict confidentiality with client and employee informationWhat You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum 2 years of office administration and accounting experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance (or reliable transportation for local errands and client visits)Strong understanding of the full accounting cycleProficiency in QuickBooks and ExcelStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProfessional discretion and high level of confidentialityPositive, service-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently and collaborativelyWhat New Level Resources Offers You:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement planGenerous Paid Time OffPaid Sick LeavePaid Leave (Jury Duty, Bereavement leave, etc.)Opportunity to work with a mission-driven HR consulting firmCollaborative, supportive team environmentExposure to diverse industries and client operationsProfessional development and growth opportunitiesMeaningful work aligned with people-first valuesCompensation: $25-$30 per hourAbout New Level Resources:New Level Resources is an HR management and consulting firm – with a difference.
