Cleared2Hire is recruiting a Junior Software Engineer for a role that combines software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research. You’ll investigate complex systems, uncover security weaknesses, and turn technical findings into capabilities that support specialized cyber missions.

What you’ll do:

• Reverse engineer software using Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or GDB.
• Research vulnerabilities, including memory corruption bugs, logic flaws, and previously unknown weaknesses.
• Develop high-performance software in C, C++, Python, or Assembly.
• Build and deploy capabilities in cloud-native environments.
• Translate research findings into practical tools and support time-sensitive mission needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or Assembly.
• Hands-on experience with binary analysis, disassembly, and decompilation.
• Experience identifying and investigating software vulnerabilities.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes.

Additional experience that stands out:

• Windows, Linux, iOS, or Android internals.
• Kernel-mode debugging and low-level system analysis.
• CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and automated testing.
• Technical support for operational cyber missions.
